Working with Andra came at a critical and defining moment for Urban Alliance. As we stepped into a new season—particularly with the added responsibility of leading Distribution Center operations—we needed clarity, alignment, and a roadmap for how to move forward. Andra provided exactly that.

 

The Case for Support was especially impactful. It helped us bring consistency to our messaging by clearly articulating who we are, where we’ve come from, and who we are today. It placed our narrative in one central location, giving our team and board a shared language that we can now draw from whether we are communicating with partners, preparing grant applications, or simply answering the question, “Who is Urban Alliance?” Just as importantly, it strengthens our institutional knowledge—ensuring that even through staff or board transitions, our story and voice remain consistent.

 

The fundraising plan gave us a tangible and feasible roadmap for growth. It introduced practical strategies, clear next steps, and thoughtful frameworks that are already helping us move into new areas, including corporate sponsorships—something we had not previously pursued in a structured way. It also challenged us to think differently about diversification and provided a healthy breakdown of efforts needed to build a sustainable funding model.

 

Beyond the tools, Andra helped shift our mindset. Our staff and board are now more confident in how we talk about our work, and there is a stronger sense of shared responsibility around relationship-building and fundraising. The conversations didn’t stop when the sessions ended—they continued, deepened, and began to take shape in real action.

 

Overall, Andra didn’t just give us documents—she gave us direction. She helped position Urban Alliance with greater clarity, confidence, and alignment for what’s ahead.
